CED is a full service structural steel drafting company that can take your project from concept to reality. Whether the idea starts from a napkin or a project plan CED can take a portion of the project or take the entire project from start to finish. CED started in Dec. 2008, Billy Blake decided that he wanted to pursue the “American Dream” of owning a business. CED often donates funds & services to non-profit organizations that help with families struggling from addiction in our community.

CED has worked with design engineers to create custom drawings for sign structures, strain poles, centenary poles, transmission structures, and other custom designed structural steel elements in several different states. While working with these engineers has CED created hundreds of different designs for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Florida, California, Rhode Island, and many more states to come.

CED has been creating shop drawings for structural steel applications since the start of business in 2008 and the owner has worked in the industry since 2004.

I have known Bill Blake, owner and founder of CED, since I took over managing the steel bridge railing product line in early 2012. He has proven to be a very capable detailer with a great attention to detail and a strong desire to meet the needs of his customers. His positive attitude makes him responsive to his customers and easy to work with.
